Ok,
Before I start, I want to get a few things out of the way. I AM NOT A RACIST. I DO NOT HATE BLACK GIRLS OR BLACK PEOPLE. I happen to have many, very good black friends, and when I am talking about “blacks,” I DO NOT MEAN ALL OF THEM, I just mean generally. Also, let me say that I’m not trying to pick on black people/single them out, because I know that white people/indians/whatever….can be the same way. We’re all humans and will never be perfect.
So anyway, what I have to say is really more of a statement that a question, and I would love to hear some feedback. Why is it that black people (generally) think they are soooo cool?? I mean if you are going to come over to America against your will and suddenly go from HATED to the coolest of cool, good for you! Just don’t get arrogant about it! I mean it just seems to me that blacks just can’t seem to make up their minds about themselves…and it’s also sad that they have to (generally) make themselves look/sound/act like complete idiots. So you want respect…recognition..rights…COOL! So does everyone else. It seems like blacks almost feel like they are better than everyone else because everyones lovesssss the rap..yeah I know, the KKK lynched thousands of blacks, and thats horrible.., BUT I feel like blacks are wanting to become black supremacists! OH LOOK AT US, we are so cool! Yeah, we all know that people think rap is cool, so shut the flip up and quit acting like a know it all. OHH WE ARE FROM AFRICA and we need to keep our traditions alive! Oh yeah? I bet you there are only a handful of blacks that knows 1 thing about Africa, its history, people, food, etc. If your so African, then dont name your kid shayquondeesha or something stupid that no one can understand…-.- Oh, and people, CHILL OUT about Obama, hes not even black! HE IS 50% white YOU CRAZY PEOPLE!!! If Obama acted (and sounded) like the average black person, you know he would have never got elected, but what does he do? HE TRIES TO SOUND LIKE A WHITE MAN….now don’t get me wrong, I am from the south and find the “black accent” to be enjoyable to an extent, that is when its natural, but when you mispronounce words ON PURPOSE and sound like AN IDIOT, and write all over facebook crap like “o yea boiz no dat iz how we roll” THAT JUST MAKES ME SICK and I dont understand why anyone would think its cool to NOT KNOW how to read, write, or speak like a normal human being. Black girls just make it worse! They think they are soooooo hot, (im not saying there are not hot black girls because there are) it’s just the majority of them are like B**** YOU MFER (cuss cuss cuss) POTTY MOUTH, throw their hand up in your face dress like A ROYAL SKANK and think its attractive??? ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS?!?!?!?!?!? It almost seems to me like black people are trying to OVERDO it in the “coolness”/power level because they were treated badly for so long. DOES THAT MEAN YOU SHOULD TURN AROUND ONCE YOU GET YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR AND DO THE SAME THING RIGHT BACK AT EVERYONE ELSE and act like complete fools who dont know how to do anything, and expect respect from the rest of the world???? YEAH RIGHT!!!
WHAT REALLY TICKS ME OFF THOUGH is this type of black person (which sadly is about 75%+ of the blacks in America today) that gives the NORMAL BLACK PERSON A.K.A. NORMAL HUMAN BEING ( being black makes no difference) a bad name! NOW, most people think that ALL black people are trashy WHICH IS NOT TRUE because there are many, MANY, wicked cool awesome black people that talk, dress, and read like normal people, (not like white people) but like a NORMAL PERSON who doesnt feel like they have to act like A RETARD in order to fit in! AND I RESPECT THEM FOR THAT.
FYI about half my friends are black….it just angers me that a group of people could lower themselves to this kind of standards FOR THE PURPOSE OF WORLD RECOGNITION AS “thugs” or “gangstas” or whatever…
AGAIN I SAY, I AM NOT TRYING TO HATE ON BLACK PEOPLE. make a white people suck thread if you want, IDC!!!! I am just talking about this issue. Yeah, i know, we all have our faults so PLEASE DO NOT take this as a racist thing BECAUSE IT ISNT!!!
LOL, i am just now watching youtube videios watching this 2 lb. white girl try to sing something and its funny as crap because shes dressing likea TOTAL PREP, yet trying to sing like a black person…rofl!!

Open Question: Would this idea work, is it possible?

A local store near me has xbox 360 arcades on sale for only 130 dollars this week, so i thought if i bought it and then bought a 20gb hard drive for about 40-50 dollars, the whole thing would only cost me 170-180 dollars, as apposed to the xbox 360 pro which is 280. Is it possible to add the hard drive to the arcade model? I just want to confrim that this is all possible before going ahead and making a purchase. Thank you!

Open Question: Can anyone explain the duckworth-lewis method?

I don’t understand it, it always seems to benefit the bowling side. NZ just got bowled out in 44 overs, scoring at the below average run rate of about 5 an over. It then rains, delaying the beginning of Australia’s innings. The revised target is then announced, and the Aussies are required to score 199 off just 33 overs at a rate of more than a run a ball.
I thought the same thing in game 2 when NZ were chasing and were bowled out 14 runs short. The revised target just seemed improbable and unfair, I was amazed that the Kiwis almost got there. This time it appears even more ludicrous, considering that the Aussies bowled them out for a modest total in less than 50 overs, and now they have to score at more than 6 an over right from the beggining to win the game.
Can anyone explain this?

Okay, so I’m a very good student I never get into trouble, I make great grades and I get along with everyone. I go to a charter school which is a much smaller public school for kids that need to go for shorter days. Anyway this is my second year there and things have been rocky for the past few months.
Yesterday, I had wore shorts where the pockets stuck out the bottoms (the way I bought them), as I was walking down the hall I was stopped by my principal and she told me that my shorts were too short and that I couldn’t wear them again. She threatened to send me home, I didn’t now what to say. I’m 5′2 naturally short and I can’t wear super long shorts cause it will look like I have little nub legs. 
Anyway, I pretty much just let her speak and walked off and she went and told my main room teacher that I was being disrespectful, which I can assure you I wasn’t. I was on my way to apoligize after school when she was doing announcements and was just telling everyone to make sure that they get to school and be on time. Being friendly I politely added, “yeah, I’ve been doing well this year…It’s been a great year so far” and she turned and gave me the most evil look and said, “I was talking to the general public, I wasn’t directly talking to YOU.” I kinda got embarrased since all my friends were standing there.
The next day I wore a skirt (today) it was well in dress code, a few inches below the length of my finger tips when my shoulders are relaxed and my arms are extended down and I made sure of that before I left my house this morning. At school I get called again to the principals office and she tells me my skirt is too short and that it was innapropriate, I visually showed her and assured her I was well in dress code. She went on to tell me she had contacted my parents to come and pick me up and I would get an unexcused absence for the day and went on to chew me out about my clothes. FYI, I’m not a trashy person and in a non conceited way think I dress rather well. I’m in an all girls class to so it’s not like I dress for attention. So after school my mom tells me she got a call from the principal and had declined ot pick me up because the principal was arguing and harrasing her on the phone. The argument was absolutely unecessary and to be honest I feel nit picked about everything. It’s not just dress code it’s tardies even if I’m 50 seconds late and absences, even if I have a doctors note. My principal argued with my mom and I both about the length of my skirt saying that it WAS in dress code but my arms are just “short”. I don’t know what to do…..she doesn’t do this to the other students and if you were in this situation what would you do?
All my skirts and shorts are the same length so I would have to wear pants everyday.
She said if I got another dress code violation she’d make me wear a uniform.
I don’t understand how a principal couldn’t have better things to do than waste both my and my mom’s time when she could focusing on a more problematic child in the school.

Open Question: What should I do with my car before going to basic training?

Hello,
I am joining the Army and not sure what to do with my car. It’s been paid off and I really like it and don’t really want to sell it. Especially these days you’re at a loss when you sell something.
The thing that makes me consider selling it is that I want to be stationed overseas in countries like Germany or Korea (Finanance Specialist MOS), but then again there’s no guarantee that I will. Do I have more than 50% chance of getting stationed at a base of my choice?
Do most enlisted men have their own vehicles at the base in the stateside? Does the Army help financially transport vechicles to their duty station after AIT? Even overseas stations?
I think I’ll keep the car until I find out where I’ll be stationed. This is the best thing to do, right?

I am designing a poster and basically my idea is to compare
$1500 M-16
$10,000 50 cal. barrett
$150,000 Hum-vee
$5,000,000 Tank
$15,000,000 Helicopter
$150,000,000 F22 raptor
Basically i need help coming up with comparisons (for example the cost of a barrett could build a school in africa) Any thing will work basically stuff like power plants, wells, houses, clean water, etc. that are close to the costs i have up. Just estimates but they need to be close enough. I need as many as possible,, so please any ideas or websites would help thanks.

Open Question: Why am I so cold all the time?

I’ve lost 20 pounds since June 2009. The most recent 10lbs being from January to February. It’s in the upper 30’s to mid 50’s during the day, and I normally wear a cotton hoodie or fleece jacket to school, and real recently I get waves of chill. It starts at my arms or back and waves across my body followed by goosebumps. It’s really annoying. The air doesn’t change, no drafts…. Happens at school (which is 68-72 degrees depending on the room) and happens at home (65-68 degrees).
No thyroid issues to my knowledge, not diabetic, good circulation… Etc.
Weirdest thing is that when it was colder (mid Feb) I had none of these chills.
